"They Hope!"

What’s happened to man o’ my Lord?

Why has he taken wealth & bread as God?

He seems to have lost the touch of reason

What’s more, he’s abusing and twisting it for treason

Praised and blessed are the masses for deceit

Speaking out the truth gets a death-receipt!

And then there’s the crowd of Muslims around

The one that’s bereft of all vigour and resound

The graves are worshipped and mosques deserted

With impunity God’s laws are flouted and flirted

Quran is the guide and the law to follow

Yet all things, but that of it, Muslims swallow

With thoughtless minds and paralysed hands

They pray to ALLAH for freeing their lands!

In the Hope that some Umar (ra) will arise

And he shall cut the enemies of ALLAH to size
